Product Name | HCV Protease FRET Substrate (RET S1) |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | This peptide is a substrate of the hepatitis C virus protease and forms an ester bond between residues P1 and P1. Since the scissile bond and the acylase intermediate product undergo a transesterification reaction, the substrate shows a very high kcat/Km value, so the activity of the sub-nanomolar non-structural protein 3 (NS3 protease) concentration can be detected. It is widely used for continuous determination of NS3 protease activity. The cleavage of the substrate is proportional to the concentration of the enzyme, and the detection limit of NS3 is between 1nm and 250pm. When this substrate is cleaved, the fluorescence can be monitored at Abs/Em=355/500nm |
