Product Name | Annexin A1 (1-25) (dephosphorylated) (human) |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | Annexin A1 (AnxA1) N-terminal derivative peptide, also known as Ac2-26, mimics the anti-inflammatory effect of AnxA1. Ac2-26 can activate all three formyl peptide receptor family members FPR, FPR-like (FPRL) 1 and FPRL2 at similar concentrations. It represents the first endogenous ligand of FPRL2. In myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury experiments, the peptide showed cardioprotective effects. Understanding the underlying mechanisms may help develop new therapies for acute cardioprotection. |
