Description | The FRET peptide can be used to selectively monitor cathepsin K activity in physiological fluids and cell lysates. Abz-HPGGPQ-EDDnp [where Abz stands for anthranilic acid and EDDnp stands for N-(2,4-dinitrophenyl)-ethylenediamine], which was originally developed as a substrate for trypanase, which can be used by cathepsin K effectively cleaves on the Gly-Gly bond. The peptide is resistant to the hydrolysis of cathepsin B, F, H, L, S and V, Ex / Em = 340nm / 420nm. |
