Description | This is the 81-111 amino acid fragment of NY-ESO-1. NY-ESO-1 antigen is expressed in many different histological types of tumors (including breast, prostate, lung, and melanoma) and male germline cells, but not in other normal tissues. NY-ESO-1 encodes MHC class I and class II restricted peptides, which are expressed by a variety of cancers and recognized by T cells. The peptide is a pan-MHC class II restricted sequence, which can bind to multiple HLA-DR and HLA-DP4 molecules, including HLA-DRB1*0101, 0401, 0701, 1101 and HLA-DPB1*0401 and 0402 molecules. |
