Product Name | [Lys(Ac)12]-Histone H4 (1-25)-GSGSK(Biotin); H4K12(Ac), biotin-labeled |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | The peptide is histone H4 (1-25), acetylated at Lys5, Lys8, Lys12 and Lys16, followed by the C-terminal GSGS linker and biotinylated lysine. The acetylation at Lys5, Lys8 and Lys12 is performed by the p300 protein, while the acetylation at Lys16 is regulated by several histone acetyltransferases. These lysine residues have important functions in transcriptional activation, replication and nuclear division. The acetylation of lysine residues promotes the binding of transcription factors to histone H4. When the peptide purity is greater than 95%, the peptide is dissolved in distilled water at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, and lyophilized again into a powder form. |
