Product Name | GRGDS, LC-biotin labeled |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | The GRGDS peptide contains the amino acid sequence Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD), which is considered to be the recognition site for the interaction of extracellular matrix (ECM) molecules with cell membrane receptors. It is known that RGD containing synthetic peptides can inhibit the adhesion of endothelial cells to the substrate. GRGDS peptide inhibits angiogenesis in serum-free collagen gel culture. This synthetic peptide mimics the cell binding sites of many adhesion proteins in the extracellular matrix and leads to the rounding and separation of diffused cells. This peptide is biotinylated with 6-aminocaproate (LC) as a spacer |
