Product Name | Enterokinase Substrate |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | This peptide is an enterokinase substrate. Enterokinase, also known as intestinal peptidase, is a membrane-bound serine endopeptidase that initiates the activation of pancreatic hydrolases through the cleavage and activation of trypsinogen. Intestinal peptidase can be seen in the duodenum. Proendop peptidase can also be detected after activation of pancreatin and cleavage of the substrate. (Note: βNA = β-naphthylamide) |
