Product Name | Calpain Substrate, Fluorogenic |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | A very sensitive fluorescent calpain substrate, Abs/Em=501/527 nm. In general, rh110-based protease substrates are more sensitive than similar AMC or afc substrates. This enhanced sensitivity may be due to the larger luciferase product. Colorless and non-fluorescent (Z-Ala-Ala) 2Rh110 is hydrolyzed into highly fluorescent rhodamine 110. The rhodamine 110 has excellent spectral characteristics and meets the best detection window of most fluorescent instruments. In addition, (Z-Ala-Ala)2Rh110 can also be used to detect calpain in the color development mode, because the enzyme product (Rhodamin 110) exhibits a large extinction coefficient (close to 100000 cm-1mol-1). After cleavage, Abs(max) is 497 nm, Em(max) is 527 nm |
