Product Name | Cys(Npys)-(D-Arg)9 |
Purity | HPLC>95% |
Description | It is a peptide composed of nine D-arginine residues and synthesized from the activated cysteine residue C (Npys), where Npys is a 3-nitro-2-pyridinesulfonate protecting cysteine. This modification enables the peptide as a carrier peptide for binding and cell penetration studies. The S (Npys) group containing 9R cysteine can selectively react with the free sulfhydryl group of another cysteine containing peptide to form an asymmetric disulfide bond. In a biological binding study, d-arg-c (nyps) has been shown to mediate talen protein into mammalian cells. |
